There are several things to like about this case: it seems well-made and durable; it zips around three of the four sides so that it will open flat, and with two pulls zips in either direction; it has elastic straps at the four corners inside to help hold a netbook in place; the bright orange inside, which a matter of taste, adds some fun to a utilitarian product.
However, there were two reason I wasn't thrilled. First, it seems fairly big for my 9" netbook. Although it's supposed to fit 7"-10" computers, logic does dictate one case couldn't really fit snugly on a range of sizes. If yours is on the smaller end of that range it will be a loose fit, which I imagine is less protective. Secondly, compared to the sleeve we have for our other netbook, which I believe is theCase Logic PLS-9 Ultraportable Netbook Sleeve for 7-Inch to 10-Inch Netbooks (Black), Amazon's has a lot less cushion. (Incidentally, Case Logic's only zips on two sides, lacks the elastic straps, and would have the same size issues, so there are trade-offs.) So this is not quite the perfect netbook sleeve, but may serve you very well depending on what you need.

I travel pretty often for work so I was really thrilled to be able to try out this product.
Some pros of the case: I really like that it lays flat and that it's very malleable. This makes for easy use while trying to work on airline's small tray tables. I also like that it offers a "germ" barrier between the tray and my PC. The zippers open easily, awesome when you're trying to do that awkward, fast, dance through security. Another plus with the security line, the slick insides make for easy removal from even a overly packed bag. I also like the brightly colored inside. I also appreciate the slimness of the sleeve, leaving me plenty of room in my carry on for other items.
Cons: a common thread with other reviews, but I'd have to agree, this case does not fit my HP mini notebook. The elastic corners, which I'm assuming are designed to hold the notebook are therefore pretty useless. Thus, my notebook sits very loose in the sleeve. One of my "pros" unfortunately has a con side as well. Since there is no way to secure my notebook, and the inside of the sleeve is slick neoprene, it is VERY easy to let your notebook slip out and crash to the floor. I had several near misses at first when I was quickly trying to repack everything after getting through the security line. Also, since the case is so malleable, there's no easy way to just slip your notebook back into the sleeve, while it's in a briefcase. If you try, it just results it your bunching and jamming the sleeve further into your bag. You really have to take the sleeve out, and insert your notebook that way.
Overall, I don't think the Cons would outweigh the Pros for me. I like the product and will continue to use it.
